The Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE), a member of HBKU’s College of Islamic Studies at Qatar Foundation, is very pleased to announce that admission cycle 2017-2018 is now open for students.

Interdisciplinary Colleges
HBKU is building interdisciplinary Colleges comprising a research and learning community where every person can experience the advantages of research education.
It seeks faculty whose research significantly advances knowledge for the solution of complex problems, the creation of new ideas, and enhances their teaching.
Masters and Doctoral students will work closely with “Scholar Teacher” faculty across basic, applied and translational research.

Centers
Housed within their respective colleges - CILE is member of the College of Islamic Studies- , centers provide an opportunity for HBKU students, as well as faculty and visiting scholars, to investigate research topics in their fields of interest in an environment rich with resources and expert guidance.
Through integration with HBKU’s programs of study, the centers offer students and researchers alike access to a wide range of scholarly activities including lectures, conferences and workshops on both the national and international levels.
