
The Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE) cordially invites you to its upcoming public lecture entitled: “The Need to Renew the Islamic Political Jurisprudence”. This event will be held on March 28th , from 7 to 9 pm in the Auditorium, QFIS building, Education City.
This lecture will address the nature and scope of theorizing in the field of the Islamic political jurisprudence, and the historical contexts that have governed this theorizing, in an attempt to rectify it in accordance with the objectives of revelation and its ethical values. This is to provide a critical nonconventional approach that is based on holistic rules governing the political action.
The lecture will be presented by Dr. Mohamed El-Moctar Shinqiti, Associate Professor of Islam and Political Ethics at CILE. And Dr. El Mokhtar Al Ahmer, Senior Researcher at CILE.
