The Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE) a member of Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies in Hamad Bin Khalifa University, held its 2016 CILE Granada Summer School in Spain, from 16th to 20th May. Around fifty students coming from different parts of the world and background attended this 3rd Edition of CILE Granada Summer School.
The Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE), a member of the Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies in Hamad Bin Khalifa University, is pleased to invite you to its public lecture entitled: “Family in the Age of Science: Ethical Challenges between Islam and Medicine, on October 7th, 2015, from7:00pm to 9:00 pm, in the auditorium of Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies’ New Building.
As one of the recent publications on Islamic Bioethics, the prestigious journal Die Welt des Islams dedicated its issue no. 55/2015 to the topic “The Social Politics of Islamic Bioethics”. The guest editors of this thematic issue were Morgan Clarke (University of Oxford, UK), Thomas Eich and Jenny Schreiber (University of Hamburg, Germany).
Dr. Mohammed Ghaly, Professor of Islam and Biomedical Ethics, was interviewed by Qatar Today to speak about his research field and bout CILE in general.
