
The Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE), a member of the Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies in Hamad Bin Khalifa University, is pleased to invite you to its first public lecture for the new academic year 2015-2016. The lecture will discuss: “Necessary Migrant Labor Reform: Islamic Ethics, Human Rights, or Market Economy?” on September 13th, 2015, from7:00 to 9:00 pm, in the auditorium of Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies’ New Building.
Dr Ray Rajai Jureidini, CILE Professor of Migration Ethics and Human Rights will moderate the lecture. Speakers include: Sheikh Dr Ali Muhyealdin Al-Quradaghi, the Secretary General of the International Union of Muslim Scholars; Mr. Jabir AL Howaiel, Director of the Legal Affairs in The National Human Rights Committee in Qatar; Dr Jawad Syed, Professor of Organizational Behavior and Diversity Management at Huddersfield University in the United Kingdom; and Dr Latife Reda, Research Consultant at the International Labor Organization in Lebanon.
